This policy explains what information Try Fix My Speaker ("we", "the site") collects, how it's used, and your choices.
Information we collect
We collect information in two ways:
- Contact form: if you submit the contact form, we store your name, email address, subject, optional device type, and message, along with the IP address of the request (used only for spam prevention).
- Server logs: like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may log basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability purposes.
What we don't collect
The Water Eject, Dust Cleaner, Speaker Test and Frequency Generator tools run entirely in your browser using the Web Audio API. No audio is recorded, uploaded, or transmitted to us or anyone else.
Cookies and tracking
At this time, the public site does not set analytics or advertising cookies. If we add analytics, advertising, or consent-management scripts in the future, we will update this policy to describe them and, where required by law, request your consent first.
How we use information
Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to your message. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-party services
We do not currently integrate third-party analytics or advertising services. Our site infrastructure (hosting and database) may process data on our behalf under standard hosting agreements.
Future advertising
We may display third-party advertising in the future (for example, via Google AdSense). If we do, this policy will be updated to disclose which providers are used and what data they may collect, and appropriate consent mechanisms will be added where required.
Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained as long as needed to address your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward, then deleted periodically.
Your privacy rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any information you've submitted via the contact form by contacting us and selecting "Privacy" as the subject.
Data security
We use reasonable technical measures (such as encrypted connections and access-controlled admin systems) to protect the information we hold, though no method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
