What the tools can do
- Water: a low, pulsing tone may help move trapped moisture out of compatible speaker openings.
- Dust: a sweeping tone may help loosen light debris, such as dust, sand or lint.
- Testing: reference tones can help you confirm whether a speaker channel is producing audible output.
What the tools cannot do
Sound cannot repair a damaged speaker driver, a blown voice coil, corroded internal components, or serious physical or liquid damage. There is no scientifically proven, guaranteed fix for hardware damage, and we make no such claim. If a tool doesn't resolve your issue, the underlying cause is likely something sound alone can't address -- please contact your device manufacturer.
